Miss Shannon Busha is a native of East Tawas and a proud alumni of Holy Family/ St. Joseph School. She graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1993, and has been on staff at Holy Family since 1997.

She loves being a teacher at Holy Family and feels that God placed her here for a specific reason. Shannon believes that every day is a gift with lessons to be learned and smiles and laughter to be shared.

Miss Busha loves to cook and to travel. She is an avid bird watcher and an aspiring gardener. Her favorite subject to teach is Religion.  She loves to watch her student’s’ faith blossom and mature.   Shannon feels very blessed to be a part of her students’ lives and loves to follow their progress as they go through the years.

Shannon’s favorite Bible verse is from Proverbs 3;5-6, ” Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your path.”

Miss Busha believes that being on staff here is an integral part of her faith journey, a path that has blessed her repeatedly over the years.
